Summer 2019  U-19 Division

The Tradition continues with 8 teams playing through the Summer heat to get in extra games and prepare for the upcoming Club and High School Seasons. The GDSL U19 Division was created to foster development of players through the summer months in a low stress game environment where they learn to play through problems and coach themselves and their team mates. We encourage team managers and coaches to take a step back and let the players step into leadership roles, run the team, and play in unnatural positions to become more complete players.

New for Summer 2019 – We are adding a U19 Allstar team from this group of players to the Men’s League. We will be working with the U19 Team Managers to select and identify players to join a team  and play against the Men on Sundays. This is an opportunity to play against higher level competition and see how Soccer is a lifetime sport. The Men’s League has players of all different levels in ages ranging from 15-63years old. Many have played in some of the highest levels in Club, College, and even some ex Professionals and still love to play every chance they get. There are also lots of local soccer coaches who kick it in Game Day on the weekends. The U19 Allstars will see a more tactical and different side to the game.
